Visual Guidance Docking System at Noi Bai Int’l Airport

VTD signed contract with Noi Bai Int’l Airport on June 22nd 2012 for supply, install, commissioning and training a Visual Guidance Docking System located at the Passenger Bridge No. 9 in T1 Terminal of the airport.

VTD signed contract with Noi Bai Int’l Airport on June 22^nd 2012 for supply, install, commissioning and training a Visual Guidance Docking System located at the Passenger Bridge No. 9 in T1 Terminal of the airport. Time of contract execution is 5 months. However, VTD finished all the works on Oct. 26^th 2012, earlier than the scheduled, thanks to the great efforts made by all the employees concerned.

Although contract value is not very large but it has a significant importance to the company. This is the 1^st VGDS project run by VTD, however, it has been supplied, installed, commissioning successfully. In addition, we organized training and transferred technology to customer.

During installation we have suitable changes according to conditions at site, making it faster and absolute safely. We made the use of existing pipe to install control cables thus avoid cutting on surface of apron then reducing cost and time.

VGDS is an advanced technology for which our engineers need to be continuously trained in order to master it in the future projects without the guidance of foreign experts.
