VTD held ACCC wire workshop at EVNNPT
On February 20, 2020, at the headquarters of the National Power Transmission Corporation – EVNNPT at No. 18 Tran Nguyen Han Street, Ly Thai To Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City, CTC Global cooperated with VTD Company – Representative of CTC Global in Vietnam since 2011 to organize a seminar to introduce “ACCC wire core with post-installation inspection capability” of CTC Global.
Attending the workshop were experts from CTC Global – USA, Vice President of CTC Global Carl Ulrich, and Regional Director Taeseok Ha. On the side of EVNNPT, there were representatives of Functional Departments, Project Management Boards of Northern, Central, and Southern Power Projects, and Power Transmission companies No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 attending via videoconference, as well as the Power Transmission Technical Service Company.
Especially, VTD Company was pleased to welcome Mr. Vo Hoai Nam – a Member of the Board of Directors of EVNNPT.
In the framework of the conference, CTC Global presented ACCC wire core technology that can be tested after installation. The product had been successfully tested in the US, Canada, France, Germany, Indonesia, India, Croatia, Nigeria, etc. For projects with more than 3 kilometers crossing rivers, seas, rugged hills, etc. CTC Global had special solutions or designs such as using super hard cores to withstand such harsh conditions while still meeting the requirements and standards in the operation of the Vietnamese electrical grid system.
With the attention, comments, and discussion of experts and guests, the conference was a success.
