On April 17, 2023, the Members’ Council of Vietnam Technical Development Co., Ltd. announced the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung as the new General Director, continuing to inherit and uphold the achievements of his predecessor – General Director Tran Tien Dat built during the past 20 years. Mr. Tran Tien Dat continues to assume the role of Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vietnam Technical Development Co., Ltd.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung was born in 1982, and holds a Master’s in Automation – from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2008, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) – from FPT University in 2017. He has been with VTD for 14 years, and currently holds the position of Deputy General Director of the company before being appointed.
During his 14 years of working at VTD, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung has contributed to the development of the company in both width and depth, especially in the field of distribution of electrical transmission equipment, with typical product lines such as aluminum Conductor composite core (ACCC wire), lightning arrester, ceramic insulation, ….. More than 6500km of ACCC wires have been installed in Vietnam, accounting for 7% of the total ACCC wires worldwide, turning the distribution segment of Industrial electrical equipment – Power transmission into a key strategic business segment of VTD.
Setting the goal of continuing to change vigorously in all aspects, enhancing competitiveness in the market, aiming for breakthrough steps, the transfer of leadership generations, and operating the company’s operations shows the vision and the long-term vision and orientation of the Board of Directors on the basis of inheriting core values, bringing into play the strengths of the successor team in succeeding, bringing VTD to more sustainable and outstanding development in the future.
